Sexual Involvement places young people at risk of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections and numerous other health hazards like unwanted pregnancies, broken relationships, low self esteem, loneliness, sleep problems, insecurity, attempted/suicide, guilt, frustration, emotional damage and poor academic performance. The purpose of the study was to establish whether the Age of Onset relates to Frequency of Sexual Involvement among students of Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST). The study revealed that the Age of Onset was significantly related to the Frequency of Sexual Involvement. A number of students had not got sexually involved. It was recommended that MUST students be provided with "abstinence" programs from year one of their study as an attempt to support and empower them to remain virgins until marriage for those not yet involved and to work on achieving secondary virginity for the sexually active thus demystifying the myth that it is impossible to abstain from sexual activity.
