The purpose of this quantitative, correlational research study was to evaluate the relationship between occupational stresses and job satisfaction among the radiologic technologists working in hospitals in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. The predictor variable was the occupational stress, and the outcome variable was job satisfaction. The quantitative research method facilitated collection of cross-sectional data from radiologic technologists registered with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and working in nine acute care centers in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. The results indicated a significant correlation existed between occupational stress factors associated with extrinsic and intrinsic motivators individually and collectively. The results also indicated a significant correlation existed between occupational stress factors associated with extrinsic and intrinsic motivators individually and collectively. This study supported the assumption that a positive relationship existed between occupational stress and job satisfaction among radiologic technologists working in hospitals in eastern province of Saudi Arabia.
