This book is usefull for The physicochemical properties and fatty acid composition of Aegle marmelos L. and Butea monosperma L. seeds oil. The oil was extracted in a soxhlet apparatus using hexane and evaluated for acid value, iodine value, peroxide value saponification values, Refractive index and moisture content. The oil was also analyzed for different element using Inductive Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICPMS). The fatty acid profile of the oil was determined by Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). For each analysis Aegle marmelos (bili) oil was compared to Butea monosperma (khakharo) oil. our result suggested that The qualitative analysis showed very similar trend in their fatty acid composition, in which 23 compound were found in bili oil, while 24 compounds were found in khakharo oil. The results of present study of physicochemical and fatty acid profiles were used for further research on bili and khakharo oils. It could be cultivated as a new source for medicine and cosmetic industries.
