Pos Pemberdayaan Keluarga (Family Empowerment Post – which was shortened into Posdaya) is a model of family empowerment to revive the mutual cooperation culture to build human resources through active participation in the family. The Posdaya was created in Indonesia for the revival of the spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation in the community, so that community members can participate and help each other in eliminating their social problems especially in education, health, economy, environment and religion.
