An Overview of Parkinson’s Disease and its Relevance

The purpose of this book is to give in depth knowledge about Parkinson’s Diseases to the patients and caregivers. The choice of Parkinson’s disease (PD) for the study was determined by the problems that PD, and other neurodegenerative disorders, poses to society. Parkinson’s disease affects approximately 0.3% of the world’s population and 1% of people over 60 years old. The aim of this book is to create awareness among the patient as well as their caretakers and common masses on Parkinson's disease.
