The course allows the student to learn fundamental and theoretical concepts of computation in terms of Automata theory and formal languages.The course covers a detailed mathematical representation of Grammars, Automata, Regular Expression and other computational models using numerous examples. The computation models are the foundation to many branches of computer science like translators, compilers, and concurrent systems.
