Constitutionalism and Separation of powers in South Africa

Separation of powers and constitutionalism has developed tremendously in South Africa. The courts have contributed a lot in terms of jurisprudence in this topic. The Constitution of South Africa has been crafted in a way that allows separation of powers being the Executive, Judiciary and Parliament. It comes out clearly that there is no universal model of separation of powers. Models differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
