Synthesis and characterization of Ni-based ferrites

The bulk Ni1-xMgxFe2O4 (x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1), bulk Ni0.2Mg0.8-x ZnxFe2O4 (x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) and nano Ni1-xMgxFe2O4 (x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1) samples are synthesized by microwave double sintering method and microwave hydrothermal method respectively. The present work elucidates various electrical, magnetic, and electromagnetic interference shielding properties of microwave processed bulk Ni1-xMgxFe2O4 (x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1), Ni0.2Mg0.8-x ZnxFe2O4 (x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) and nano Ni1-xMgxFe2O4 (x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1) ceramics.
