Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is a major legume crop recognized as the efficient producer of the two scarce quality characters i.e. the protein and oil, which are not only the major components in the diet of vegetarians mass but a boon to the developing countries as well. Biofertilizers are the substitute or supplementary materials in addition to the chemical fertilizers. Biofertilizers are economically viable lever for realizing the ultimate goal of increasing productivity. These microbial system siphon out appreciable amount of nitrogen from the atmospheric reservoir and enrich the soil with nutrients.
