Treatment Evaluation and Screening of Autism

The book summarizes diagnostic issues in autism, psychologic theories aiming at explaining the core deficits, and available diagnostic instruments. It also covers a review of ten years of treatment in autism research, two studies on the use of Structured Teaching according to Division TEACCH in adults and children with autism and mental retardation, and a study on developing and using a screening instrument for autism at eight to ten months of age.
