Perception and Practice of Homosexuality in Nigerian Universities

The concept of homosexuality in the light of gay rights and sexual orientation have been argued severally in most African culture that homosexuality is alien and does not exist in African culture. Some countries in Africa like Nigeria are on the verge of signing a bill to act prohibiting homosexuality and gay marriage in Nigeria. This thesis is one of the rarest evidence-based data available to reseachers, policy makers and advocates on the actual picture of homosexuality in African culture. The universities are major focus for experimentation and adventures and have been used to coordinate several sexual orientations in Africa. This well researched thesis is recommended to advocates, policy makers and researchers to enable all concerned make informed decision. The dangers associated from neglect or disease implications of homosexuality may be a time bomb at the long run in Africa.
