Floods of Murshidabad District: Problems and Management

The low flat terrain is enriched by ground water also, thus the people of this region will not suffer from scarcity of water. The only enemy of the deltaic region is the destructive flood. If the flood is controlled here in a sustainable manner then the world’s largest delta will remain as one of the as one of the world’s largest densely populated region for ever.
