Dairy Production Characterization and Effects of Concentrate Feeding

Ethiopia has a huge cattle population. But the production and reproductive performances are poor due to different reasons. Among others availability as well as the cost of feed resources and traditional feeding practices are the critical problems which are challenging the Ethiopian dairy sector. At least to minimize the effects of the mentioned problems efficient use of locally available feed resources and strategic feeding approach is crucial.
