Active Learning and Evaluation of Education in Indonesia

Today's education world is required to present active learning, and the main target are teachers. Teachers are educators who are asked to carry out teaching and learning activities with an active learning model. Active learning is a form of innovation in the learning process that aims to increase student activity. The Active Learning strategy in it is complex, from the model to be used, to the methods and approaches, there are many choices and collaborations that can be done. The implementation of the strategy will certainly be applied by the teacher as the implementer of learning in the classroom. Apart from being educators, teachers also act as evaluators. Teachers are required to be able to evaluate the learning outcomes of students. Evaluation is a way that can be done to determine learning outcomes and the effectiveness of implementing the learning process. After the evaluation activity is carried out, the teacher can determine the follow-up of student learning outcomes and improvement in teaching implementation.
