Family Problems of HIV-infected widows and spouses of IDUS

In Manipur in a short time, the HIV infection has reached epidemic proportion affecting men, women and children, making it one of the most serious health problem in the state. A person who suffers from HIV/AIDS happen to become untouchables even to their own family, relatives and friends. But family is a very important support system that take off much of the stress faced by the women.The book is an attempt to assess the various family problems faced by the HIV infected widows and spouses of IDUs in Imphal West District of Manipur.
