To mention the Geographic view of our World, Geography Education Standard Projects (1994) in America mentioned that ‘Geography is for life in every sense of that expression: lifelong, life-sustaining, and life enhancing. Geography is a field of study that enables us to find answers to questions about the world around us-about where things are and how and why they got there. We can ask question about things that seems very familiar and often taken for granted’ (Geography for Life: National Geography Standards, 1994). The rationale of the study was to explore Bangladesh secondary school students’ perceptions on Geography lesson, teaching methods, problem of teaching subject, curriculum and course content, physical facilities and teacher-student expectations. To identified the perceptions and expectations of students in secondary level has been considered, and to composed suggestions to develop its quality that attribute to increase the productivity of the lesson by using of teaching aids as well as teaching-learning process, and enhance teachers competencies in teaching Geography.
