This book presents empirical evidence of how modern Christians' perceptions (including beliefs and attitudes) and knowledge (and understanding) could affect their level and practice of tithing. Despite the fact that tithing transcends generations, era, epoch and seasons, today thousands of Christians believe it was an Old Testament doctrine that is outdated and has no place in the modern Church. The Book gives an evidence based assessment of how what one perceives and knows regarding this great Biblical Principle could affect one's attitude towards and the actual practice of tithing. Concurrent Mixed Method Research Design was used in the study to ensure triangulation of findings and to provide a platform for undertaking an in-depth study of the concept of tithing among modern Evangelical and Pentecostal Christians. Despite negative perceptions created in the World today largely by the media and some church leaders regarding the principle of tithing, the study established that systematic and sound teaching is still far more important in reinforcing the truth and ensuring that Christians are firmly grounded on Biblical Truth. The findings have been largely supported by scriptures.
