Continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) is widely used in chemical industries. The control of CSTR is difficult due to its complex non-linear behavior. The parameters of the reactor like concentration and temperature both are uncertain so CSTR has disturbance in domain. A controller has to be designed for the disturbance rejection. . PID is a feedback controller and its implementation is easy so it is widely used in control system application. PID control tries to reduce the error between measured output and desired output by manipulating the process control inputs. Three parameters Kp, Kd ,Ki are adjusted to achieve the set point. Model predictive control (MPC) is an advance computer control technique. To predict the future values of output MPC utilizes process model according to that future values changes in input variables is calculated by changing prediction and measurements.
