Valuable Chemistry of Hydantoins and Thiohydantoins

This book reveals the chemistry of hydantoins and thiohydantoins. The green rout of the synthesis of hydantoins and thiohydantoins is of great importance nowadays due to their different applications such as in medicine, catalysis, manufacture of plastics, so it is studied in this book. The thermal synthesis was also studied. The different reactions of hydantoins and thiohydantoins that produced important compounds for treating different diseases were studied. The most important biological utilities of hydantoins and thiohydantoins that are studied are anti-cancer activity, antimicrobial activity, antiviral activity, anxiolytic activity, antidiabetic activity. They are also used for other purposes, including textile printing, as catalysts for polymerizations, in the production of resins and plastics.
